Text Box: Hot Chocolate

“Swirling silverware.” “No honey, that’s sterling silverware.” “But mom, that’s not the way I’m using this spoon. Look at the whirlpool in my cup of hot chocolate.” “Honey you shouldn’t be using grandma’s antique silver spoon to stir your chocolate, it’s an heirloom.” “What’s a hairloom?” “No honey, heirloom— heirloom is something that is passed along through generations.” “Mom.” “What sweetheart?” “What’s germinations?” “No sweetie, generations—germination are what seeds do when they sprout.” “Mom,” “Yes.” “What’s sprout?” Well honey, sprout is another word for bedtime.
