Text Box: Johnny’s Powder

Every day Johnny would take the pixy dust talcum powder he carried in a large rubber spritzer and go to the mall. At the mall he would walk up to any one he found frowning and declare, “I am Johnny Valentine Seed, planter of love, passion, and compassion, then dust them. Mall security had given up trying to stop him because Johnny always managed to dust them before they got to him—they just didn’t have the heart to bust him after he dusted them.

It was just talcum powder, but it worked. Maybe it was Johnny’s faith that made it work. Fact was instead of being angry, people became happy and loving after they were dusted. I am told that Johnny saved several thousand marriages, ten thousand great friendships and ten or twenty pen pal relationships. The guy who told me had a fine talc smile that was newly spritzed, so I trusted what he told me.

If you ask me, I believe it was Johnny’s abiding faith in his cause that did the trick. His powder also provided him with a nice income, as the florist shop in the mall gave him 10% of the purchase when a customer came in covered with powder and bought roses.
